Asa Butterfield Plays A Deadly Game In Choose Or Die Trailer

The trailer for Netflix's latest thriller, Choose or Die, pits Asa Butterfield and Iola Evans against a deadly '80s video game. The horror movie follows Evans' Kayla, a cash-strapped student who, alongside Butterfield's Isaac, plays a retro survival game in an attempt to win an unclaimed cash prize. In doing so, Kayla and Isaac unwittingly release a deadly curse that sees the pair fighting for their lives. Joining Butterfield and Evans in the impressive Choose or Die cast are Eddie Marsan, Ryan Gage, and horror legend Robert Englund.

As revealed by Netflix, the latest trailer for Choose or Die gives fans their first proper look at Kayla and Isaac's terrifying fight against the aptly named video game, CURS>R. The trailer boasts plenty of horrific moments, teasing CURS>R crossing over into reality, with one scene showing Kayla choosing the fate of an innocent waitress. A later scene shows Isaac reacting to the game mirroring his words as he speaks, before another seems to show Isaac glitching in real-life. Featuring plenty of Saw-like moments, the trailer finishes with a montage of horrifying moments, including a particularly nasty-looking scene including a sink full of needles. Choose or Die looks like a fantastic blend of Black Mirror and Sawand the first trailer hints that the movie won't hold back in forcing Kayla and Isaac to make plenty of horrible choices. While Butterfield and Evans have already proven to be excellent actors in their own right, neither are known for their horror acting, so Choose or Die could be a great entry point for the young actors. It's also interesting to see to what extent Robert Englund is going to appear in the movie, with the trailer not giving away the horror legends part. Kayla and Isaac's fate will be decided when Choose or Die begins streaming on April 15.
