Final Fantasy XIV players will be able to experience the return of the Moogle Treasure Trove later this month. This special event has no set schedule and gives adventurers the opportunity to earn a plethora of limited-time rewards. Typically, the Moogle Treasure Trove in FFXIV takes place right before a significant change to the game. The last iteration of the event ended upon the release of FFXIV: Endwalker. 2022's Moogle Treasure Trove will be the final celebration before the release of Patch 6.1.
The next major update will introduce a ton of new activities and the rework of existing content from A Realm Reborn. Most notably, the Praetorium and Castrum Meridianum will be implemented differently on FFXIV's Duty Roulette. These two dungeons are rather infamous among the community because they take a long time to complete. To counteract the time investment, the activities do offer a lot of Tomestones. The Praetorium will be split up into multiple instances, while the party size for Castrum Meridianum will be reduced. The Moogle Treasure Trove will be the last opportunity for adventurers to experience the two duties as they currently exist.
Details of the newest iteration of the event were posted on The Lodestone. This year's Moogle Treasure Trove in FFXIV will last from 1:00 a.m. (PDT) on March 14, 2022, until the start of Patch 6.1 sometime in April. During this event, players can earn Irregular Tomestones of Scripture by finishing the activities listed on the Duty Roulette. This currency can be exchanged with the Moogle vendors in City-States for various rewards. However, players should note that these Tomestones will not be awarded to adventurers using the Unrestricted Party option. Only duties marked with a Moogle icon will give Irregular Tomestones of Scripture. Players should not miss out on their chance to get the rare rewards that will be offered in exchange for a little time investment.
The March 2022 Moogle Treasure Trove in FFXIV is a great way for adventurers to not only acquire limited items but hard-to-get rewards too. The Moogle vendors always offer a ton of enticing choices for players to spend their Tomestones on during the event. This year, fans will have the opportunity to exchange for the Mameshiba Earring, Tamamo Headband, and the Euphonius Kamuy Fife. The flute summons the Euphonius Kamuy, which is one of the components of FFXIV's Kamuy of the Nine Tails Mount. While these are three of the most notable rewards, there are plenty of other exciting items, such as the White and Rose Lanner Whistles. Adventurers should take advantage of the event to gather these rare rewards.
The Moogle Treasure Trove in FFXIV is always wonderful because players can earn the Irregular Tomestones needed while completing their daily Duty Roulette. While exchanging for multiple items can require that adventurers grind out additional duties, the event makes it easier to acquire some rare rewards. Players can grab some friends and start earning Irregular Tomestones of Scripture, when the Moogle Treasure Trove returns to Final Fantasy XIV on March 14, 2022.
