The Joe Millionaire season finale is finally here, and as bachelor Steven McBee tries to choose between Annie and Calah, he admits the latter is still a wild card. Fans have been waiting all season long to see which women bachelors Kurt Sowers and Steven will choose, and with just two contestants each, the men will have to decide who they see a future with and who will be sent packing. The season started with 18 contestants, and in the beginning, it was easy for the men to narrow down the competition as they typically agreed on who they lacked a connection with and who they thought was there for the wrong reasons. As a refresher, Steven is worth $10 million, while Kurt is not; however, the women do not know which bachelor is the millionaire.
As the women were narrowed down, it became increasingly tougher for the men to decide which women they wanted to continue seeing. For Kurt, he made an instant connection with Carolyn but later found himself falling for Amanda as well. On the other hand, Steven really hit things off with Annie but was also drawn in by Calah's mysterious nature and hard-to-break-down walls. While some of the other women were sent home for not being open enough with the men, something about Calah kept Kurt and Steven on their toes. As she slowly became more vulnerable, she and Steven sparked immediate chemistry on their most recent date.
During the Joe Millionaire season finale, Steven seems to find himself in a predicament; he doesn't know if he should choose Annie or Calah. Distractify shared a preview clip from FOX in which Steven reveals his confused emotions around Calah and whether or not they mean he should pursue a relationship with her or if he's a better fit for Annie. In the preview, Steven and Calah are hanging out on the couch, seemingly in his and Kurt's bachelor pad while he picks her brain on her first impression of the competition. It's clear the bachelor is still trying to crack "the curious case of Calah Jackson" and decide if she's worth pursuing.
"As Calah's sitting there looking into my eyes, I'm thinking to myself, you know, she's still a wild card, a bit of a mystery," Steven says. His relationship with Annie contrasts drastically, as the contestant has been very open with him from the start, seemingly making them the perfect match. While Calah admitted she's more interested in personality over a bank account, Steven's still not sure if her mysterious nature is a good thing. Calah was initially attracted to both Kurt and Steven, but after the lastest episode of Joe Millionaire, she realized she had more of a connection with Steven and chose to join his team, leaving Kurt to choose between Carolyn and Amanda. "At times, I love the challenge. I love the chase," Steven confesses in the clip. "But is that gonna be something I want to have long-term?"
Steven certainly has a tough decision to make during the Joe Millionaire season finale. While many fans believe he's going to choose Annie, the bachelor seems equally as attracted to both girls and could likely surprise viewers by picking Calah. It seems clear that Annie would be the right choice as the two have had an electric connection and a strong friendship throughout the season. However, if Steven lets his desire for cat and mouse games win, he might just go home with the Texas native, setting himself up for some serious detective work throughout his relationship. Hopefully, Steven can narrow down his competition and make the right decision.
The Joe Millionaire finale airs Thursday, March 10 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
