New Moon Knight posters arrive revealing three of the hero's Marvel Cinematic Universe costume designs in detail, including Mr. Knight. Development on an adaptation of the supernatural character has been in the works for years, with original plans to include Moon Knight in the scrapped Blade: The Series season 2 that would lead into a spin-off series as well as Marvel partnering with No Equal Entertainment for a separate show, though all would fall apart. Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn also pitched a Moon Knight film to Marvel Studios, though wasn't able to work on it further due to his busy schedule with the cosmic superhero team.
Moon Knight would finally come together in 2019 when the show was announced to be in the works for Disney+ with Mortal Kombat 2 writer Jeremy Slater set as the head writer and executive producer. Oscar Isaac would be cast in the titular role the following year along with Ethan Hawke as the main villain, Arthur Harrow, in early 2021. Anticipation continues to build for Moon Knight's long-awaited arrival ahead of its March premiere and now Marvel is offering something exciting to tide audiences over in the meantime.
With just over two weeks remaining until the show's premiere, Marvel has unveiled new Moon Knight posters. The key art reveals three MCU costume designs in detail for Isaac's new hero, including the eccentric Mr. Knight persona. Check out the exciting new posters below:
The new Moon Knight posters are a very stylish look at the character's long-awaited live-action debut and his MCU costume designs. Previous trailers for the series have primarily shown an unmasked Marc Spector in general attire, though a brief glimpse was seen of the mercenary donning a general hoodie to conceal his presence amongst Arthur Harrow's followers. However, one of the new Moon Knight posters seemingly hints towards it serving as a more direct nod to his transformation into the hooded hero.
The most interesting of the three new Moon Knight posters is the new look at his Mr. Knight personality, an eccentric street-level detective with his mask and a white suit. While previous trailers have shown plenty of the titular hero's main outfit, audiences have yet to get a proper glimpse of Mr. Knight in action, instead having to settle for the posters of Marc's stylish alternate personality, an element further teased in the new posters with the shadows of other personalities looming behind those at the center of each key art. The wait for the character's debut is nearly over as Moon Knight is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 30.
