New events have been announced for Pokémon Go for April 2022. With Spring starting and the weather beginning to improve, many trainers are eager to step outside their homes and explore the world to capture more Pokémon. Currently, Pokémon Go is hosting its Season of Alola event, with a heavy focus on creatures that originated from Pokémon Sun and Moon. This includes the starters Pokémon, Litten, Popplio, and Rowlet, and a handful of other common Pokémon from the region. In April, there will be even more Alolan Pokémon making their way to the game.
Arguably, the biggest feature to join Pokémon Go during April is for Android users. Those who play the game on Android devices will finally be able to enable Adventure Sync. This allows the game to keep track of the player's steps and progress, even when the game isn't fully open. It's an option that is already available for iOS players, and trainers will have the option to add a widget to their home screens to follow their Egg progress.
Pokémon Go is stacked with new content, raid battles, and rewards to collect for April 2022. Every month, trainers can participate in new Community Day events, Spotlight Hours, or even seasonal exclusive events. Not only that, but the legendary Pokémon, Tapu Bulu, will be making its Pokémon Go debut. It's one of the four guardian deities in the Alola region and will appear in Five-Star raid battles. It will only be available for a limited time.

Trainers will also be able to find an Alolan Marowak through the April Research Breakthrough. After collecting seven daily stamps, trainers will be rewarded with this encounter and a handful of other items. Alolan Marowak also has the chance to appear in its Shiny form if the player is lucky enough. Not only that, but players can claim their weekly remote raid pass in the shop for 1 Poké Coins. Use it to battle against Tapu Bulu when it makes its appearance in April.
